How ENTutoring Works with You

New Students

First of all, you get a free-of-charge initial needs assessment. This assessment tells you if the tutor is right for you. After the assessment, the tutor explains what they can do to help the student.

Charges

Week by Week Payment Plan

After the assessment, if the student wants to study with this tutor, you book
hours. You can choose to book and pay as you go along, with the weekly
payment plan. You are expected to book the same hours each week.

Month by Month Payment Plan

You can move to a monthly payment plan whenever you like, even right from
the start.

With the monthly payment plan, you agree to pay for tutoring for a whole
school term, and pay each month. This means the tutor can offer discounts on the charges, which makes it better value for money.

Month by Month Payment Plans are not rolled over automatically. Before the
end of each school term, you need to let the tutor know if you want to keep
the booking for tuition for the following term.

The monthly payment plans are paid in nine instalments over the year :-

Autumn Term monthly payments : September, October and November
Spring Term monthly payments : December, January and February
Summer Term monthly payments : March, April and May

If you start tuition with a Week by Week Payment Plan, and switch to a Month
by Month Payment Plan, there will be a deduction for lessons already given in
the term.

Term by Term Payment Plan

If you choose to pay the whole term tuition charges in one go, this needs to
be at the start of the term.

All tuition is online, using Microsoft Teams, Whatsapp or Google Meet.

Cancellations, Replacement Lessons, Additional Lessons and Refunds

→ Cancelling an Individual Lesson

If you want to cancel a booking, you need to let the tutor know at least 24
hours in advance, or you will be charged for the lesson.

If you have an emergency, due to reasons outside your control, you will not
be charged, as long as you let the tutor know what happened, as soon as you
can.

If you cancel a booking, you will be given the opportunity to re-book the hour at another time that is suitable. Replacement lessons are not charged for.

If you cancel a booking on the monthly payment plan, you will need to re-
book the hour before the end of the school term.

→ Cancelling a Payment Plan

If you wish to cancel a Week by Week Payment Plan, there is no
administration fee.

If you wish to cancel a Month by Month Payment Plan, you can receive a
refund for lessons not taken, and there will be an administration cost of one
third deducted from the refund.

If you have decided to pay for a whole term in advance with the Term by Term
Payment Plan, but then want to cancel the booking, you can receive a refund
for lessons not taken, and an administration cost of one fifth will be deducted
from the refund.

→ Additional Lessons

Additional Lessons can be booked and paid for on a lesson by lesson basis.

If you have a monthly payment plan, the charges for the additional lessons
will be discounted in the same way as your plan.

Term Dates

Term dates will follow the London Borough of Waltham Forest, except by
special arrangement.
