What ENTutor Do

ENTutor offers one-to-one online tutoring in Mathematics, Science and English, using Skype, Whatsapp and Duo.

Tutor Jo enjoys helping students build confidence, knowledge and skill, whichever stage you are starting from.

Whether it's learning neat Maths tricks and English grammar for SATs, taking an in-depth look at GCSE Chemistry, working on Creative Writing for English, or struggling with the workload for A Level Mathematics and Science, Tutor Jo will find the right way to help you take a step up.

We Love Mathematics

Tutor Jo estimates that 30% or more of the course is based around Fractions, Percentages and Ratios, so we always start there. Did you know that 17% of 85 is the same as 85% of 17? That's the power of fractions for you, right there.

We learn how to handle equations without getting confused, and make it easier to handle with the Two Rules and One Method of Algebra, which should help you make sense of it all with a little time and practice.

Also, watch out for the DOTS : examiners keep setting questions using the Difference of Two Squares.

Pushing Through At A Level

A Level Mathematics is your friend. If you get a good grade at A Level Mathematics, you will be ready for a wide range of university courses, and a number of really good careers. You will be spending all your free time answering A Level Mathematics questions for two years, so it has to be worthwhile : perhaps you might want a snack break after every worksheet answered.

A Level Physics? It's all about finding the winning formula and working out how to apply it. Plus, the universe is way more weird than it was at GCSE, but don't let that worry you.

For A-Level Chemistry, there is so much to learn, and you have to find the way that works for you. Perhaps you will find that talking about the topic content with your tutor is the best way. Or will you do better with memorisation using flashcards? ENTutor will help you find your best strategy.

How ENTutor Works

It all starts with a free assessment and a free short report that outlines how Tutor Jo thinks she can help the student through tuition.

The first lesson is always free as well, so the student and their family can find out whether tutoring really works for them before booking hours.
